Andrew Rodriguez at SXSW
Austin, TX – This past weekend, Andrew Rodriguez participated in a roundtable discussion at the SXSW Conference in Austin, Texas. Andrew, along with the other panelists, discussed innovative ideas that are shaping our local and national economies. The conversation featured a diverse group of panelists, including representatives from Google, Facebook, IBM, The Aspen Institute, and a European political delegation.
The focus of the roundtable was to expand on the direct effect innovation has on communities and by default, the effect of a constantly evolving economy on the average American worker. Discussion points included ideas on how companies can create linkages between the innovations that are created in garages, dorm rooms, and labs and how they affect the downstream communities and public institutions they touch.
We would like to thank all of the panelists who participated and give a special thanks to SXSW for providing a platform to discuss the future of jobs. Andrew looks forward to continuing the conversation as a state legislator in Sacramento.
