Mt. San Antonio College Board Trustee Jay Chen Endorses Andrew Rodriguez

Walnut, CA –  Regional leader and Mt. San Antonio College Trustee Jay Chen, announces his endorsement of Andrew Rodriguez for California's 55th State Assembly District.

“I have known Andrew for nearly a decade, and have seen his passion for service during his term on the Walnut City Council. The constituents of the district deserve a representative that is visible and committed to the community.” said Trustee Jay Chen. “Andrew is an innovative thinker, a respected leader, and an accessible representative. He is the right person to move our communities forward. I am proud to stand with Andrew as he seeks to represent the residents of the 55th Assembly District.”

A graduate of Harvard College and an officer in the United States Navy Reserves, Trustee Chen has been serving the residents of the East San Gabriel Valley in public service for over a decade. In 2007, he began serving on the Hacienda-La Puente School Board, where he championed several programs including dual-language immersion programs, culinary arts, and computer science. In 2015, Chen was elected to represent Trustee Area 5 of the Mt. San Antonio College Board, where he currently serves as Vice President.
