California State Treasurer Fiona Ma Endorses Andrew Rodriguez For State Assembly Race in the 55th District
Walnut, CA – California State Treasurer and former member of the California Board of Equalization and State Assembly, Fiona Ma proudly endorses Andrew Rodriguez for the California State Assembly.
“Andrew is a passionate, young leader who has served the residents of Walnut well during his term on the City Council. I am confident that he will be a strong advocate for the district when he arrives in Sacramento.”
Fiona Ma was elected California State Treasurer in 2018 with more votes (7,825,587) than any other candidate for treasurer in the state's history. She served on the California Board of Equalization from 2015 to 2019 and worked to protect the rights of taxpayers while leading the biggest reforms for accountability and efficiency in that agency’s history. From 2006 to 2012, she served in the California State Assembly and on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors from 2002 to 2006.
“I am excited to receive the endorsement of such an incredible and trailblazing leader for our state. Treasurer Ma works hard every day to ensure that our residents and taxpayers are protected, and that is something that I hope to emulate in Sacramento. I will work with the Treasurer to ensure transparent and accountable representation of government so we can continue to build trust with the people of California,” said City of Walnut Mayor Pro Tem Andrew Rodriguez.
